Winter has made a reappearance! I hope you got to enjoy the new snow! I finally got my first day of snowboarding in and a little snowmobile ride. :)
My classes are all in the classroom on Monday. Please put your clothes away and meet in roll call, except for 7th grade. 7th grade, please meet outside of Room 510. 6th: We will begin our unit on water. 7th: We will begin our unit on bones. 8th: We will begin our Skills packet. Rotation is Classroom -> Fitness Room -> Gym In the gym, we will continue volleyball, in the fitness room, we will learn to use the equipment and get fit! :) The dance is this Friday! I have a sub on Thursday. No one will dress out. Basi's classes will be playing PIG BALL. :) Wednesday is a MINI day. Home Basketball game Tuesday. We are starting our 2nd Trimester rotations on Monday. Just remember the acronym GCF (Gym-Classroom-Fitness Room) or know that you will NOT dress out the day AFTER we are in the Gym. Rotation is Gym>Classroom>Fitness room/Cafe>Gym Gym-our first unit is volleyball. Cafe -we will play various group and individual games Fitness room- all students will review/learn cardio machines and work on the core using body weight and balance gear as well as practice mindfulness/relaxation. 8th grade will use all working weight and cardio machines. 7th will learn some weight machines, and use all cardio machines. 6th graders will learn the cardio equipment and finish up Fitness Testing. In the Classroom all students will have the Health Unit. Always bring your backpack, CHARGED chromebook and be ready for written work as well. Always meet in the gym first unless otherwise noted. We have Fitness Room on Monday. Please dress out and meet for roll call. Monday is a "B" day for 6th grade. Everyone needs to bring PE clothes back on Monday to put away! We will clarify all of this on Monday. Make it a fit and fabulous week!! |
